Mary has responsibility for the Paws & Read Program in schools.

She has been a Trustee for several national charities and continues to do so with her vast experience in the education sector.

Mary has sat on the Cabinet Office secretariat a committee that decides who merits New Year and Birthday Honors. Mary lives in North Wales with her two cockers, Bertie and Jamie Oliver! Bertie has recently retired following 10 years of visiting and Jamie Oliver is waiting to step into his shoes.
